Welcome to NG Painting. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules, responsibilities, and limitations regarding the services we provide. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer residential and commercial painting services, including but not limited to:

• Interior and exterior painting.

• Surface preparation (e.g., drywall repair, sanding, priming).

• Coating and refinishing.

• Additional services as agreed upon in the service contract.

All services are delivered according to the written estimate or signed agreement between the client and NG Painting.

2. Estimates and Pricing

• Estimates provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

• Prices may vary if the scope of work changes or unforeseen conditions are discovered (e.g., structural damage, mold, water damage).

• All additional costs will be communicated in writing before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

• A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the booking.

• The remaining balance is due upon completion of the agreed work.

• Payments can be made via [accepted payment methods].

• Late payments may incur interest charges as permitted by Canadian law.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client must:

• Provide clear access to the work area.

• Remove or protect furniture, valuables, and personal items before work begins.

• Ensure the property is safe and free from hazards.

• Inform NG Painting of any pre-existing issues (e.g., lead paint, asbestos, electrical concerns).

5. Work Schedule and Delays

We strive to complete all projects within the agreed timeline. However, delays may occur due to:

• Weather conditions.

• Material shortages.

• Unforeseen site conditions.

• Changes requested by the client.

Any changes to the schedule will be communicated promptly.

6. Warranty

We offer a 1-month workmanship warranty covering peeling, blistering, or flaking resulting from defective application (excluding normal wear, damage, or improper maintenance).
This warranty does not cover:

• Damage from weather, moisture, or structural issues.

• Damage caused by the client or third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

NG Painting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the services rendered.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made 15 days before the scheduled start date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

• Cancellations made less than 5 days prior may result in forfeiture of the deposit.

• Refunds for incomplete work will be determined based on the percentage of work completed.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Ottawa Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws.
